Chain elevators for sunflower seeds

Four chain elevators have left the plant for Ukraine. At a major international corporation, our conveyor technology will become part of an oil extraction plant.

Reliability and durability

The conveyor system will be in operation between twelve and sixteen hours a day. Therefore, the customer’s requirements for reliability are high and met perfectly with Zuther’s quality standards.

The elevators have a length of 17-32 meters and achieve a conveying capacity of 15 tons per hour. The special Zuther chain V/45 EV2 conveys the sunflower seeds at a speed of 1.3 meters / second. Furthermore, the welded elevator buckets were equipped with triple edge reinforcements to prevent increased wear. The shaft construction was also made of stainless steel 1.4301 to prevent wear. In addition to generous maintenance hatches, the elevator head is also equipped with a pressure relief and an aspiration nozzle.
