With the acquisition of Siegmund Henning Anlagentechnik SHA GmbH, Zuther GmbH is expanding its product portfolio to include highly specialised screw conveyor technology. Founded in 1996, the family-owned company from Ludwigslust has many years of experience in the design and manufacture of screws and enjoys an excellent reputation in the industry. The product range extends from ATEX-certified pipe and trough screw conveyors and fine dosing screws with a dosing accuracy of ±5 g to mixing and filter discharge screws, robust, custom-made discharge floors made of steel or stainless steel, and much more. Target industries include the food industry with its high hygiene standards, the chemical industry, recycling companies, the building materials and glass industry, feed processing and many other areas.
In addition to technological expansion, the merger will create a strong alliance with far-reaching synergy effects – in development, sales and manufacturing. The SHA site in Ludwigslust will remain fully intact and will be integrated into the Zuther Group as an independent company with around 50 employees. SHA stands for quality – a claim that fits perfectly with the philosophy of Zuther GmbH: quality based on tradition. The takeover will enable SHA to specifically market established Zuther components such as bucket elevators, conveyor belts and trough chain conveyors. At the same time, Zuther will benefit from SHA’s expanded expertise in the field of special screw conveyor technology. This will result in a mutual transfer of expertise that will complement and round off the respective product portfolios in a meaningful way. For customers, this means a competent, central point of contact for all questions relating to conveyor technology.
The collaboration opens up new opportunities for both sides: plant manufacturers will now receive even more targeted, individual, economical and tailor-made solutions – quickly, modularly and from a single source. The newly constructed production hall, measuring 70 metres in length and 40 metres in width, is specially designed for screw production and has been efficiently optimised in all areas. Equipped with modern machinery and a sophisticated powder coating system, it meets the highest quality and manufacturing standards. The management will continue to be led by Tom Henning, with Jannik and Jonas Zuther providing strategic and advisory support. We are delighted to welcome Tom Henning and his team to the Zuther family and would like to thank him warmly for his tireless commitment. Both companies share high quality standards, decades of market experience and a common conviction that family values and technical excellence form a strong and sustainable combination.
The takeover with SHA sends a clear signal to the market: Zuther is positioning itself as one of the industry’s leading full-service providers for bulk material handling – with a broad, modular product portfolio that supplies all key components from a single source across all products and industries. In this way, we create long-term added value and efficiency for our customers worldwide.
