In the largest connected forest area in Germany, a new wood pellet plant was realized with our partners.
The wood by-products, such as sawdust and wood chips, are upcycled and pressed directly into premium wood pellets. They are then temporarily stored and finally loaded. Wood chips in particular place special demands on the conveying machines, as they can be up to 150 mm long. This makes them particularly susceptible to “bridging” and difficult to convey. Nevertheless, the conveying capacity of 80t/h (at 0.25 t/m³) does not pose any major challenges for our bucket elevators. We are delighted that our conveyor technology played its part in the successful project.
