With a major order, SHA – a subsidiary of the Zuther Group – is making a strong international statement. In China, SHA prevailed against several well-known competitors in a highly competitive environment and was awarded the contract to supply key components for a large-scale greenfield project that will set new standards in the global building materials industry.
The order comprises the delivery of almost 100 dosing screws, which will be used for coarse to fine dosing and will play a key role in the new production plant. The particular challenge lay in combining extremely robust designs with maximum dosing precision. Most of the screws will be manufactured in stainless steel and supplemented by highly specialised variants with integrated lump breakers, optimised blade geometries and customer-specific drive concepts.
Thanks to the modular engineering expertise and deep vertical integration of the Zuther Group, SHA was able to offer a solution package that was both technologically and economically convincing. The customer benefits from a system architecture designed for long-term process reliability – with clear advantages in terms of wear reduction, ease of maintenance, temperature resistance and dosing accuracy.
The project underscores the Zuther Group’s strategic ambition to successfully position engineering excellence ‘Made in Germany’ in demanding international markets. At the same time, the contract award strengthens SHA’s role as a specialist in high-quality dosing and bulk solids technology in global plant engineering.
With the start of production in China, the plant will play a pioneering role – both in terms of automation and process stability – and serve as a benchmark for future plants in the international building materials industry. For SHA, this project is clear proof that technological innovation, flexibility and quality-oriented manufacturing make the decisive difference in global competition.
