In addition, an extended range of options is available, such as mechanical shut-off valves or quick-release systems to limit residual flow. For potentially explosive atmospheres, the precision dosing screws are optionally available in ATEX-compliant versions. On request, we supply complete units including all fittings right through to ready-to-operate cabling. Sophisticated sealing concepts and precision-manufactured transitions also ensure a high level of dust tightness, which is of crucial importance particularly in sensitive process environments.

Through the use of suitable materials, optimised surfaces and easy-to-clean designs, the systems meet the requirements for hygienically sensitive applications. Compared to alternative dosing systems, precision dosing screws offer a low-maintenance and reliable solution. There are limitations when dealing with extremely sticky or poorly flowing bulk materials, where additional discharge aids may be required.
