With the successful commissioning of our new fully automated production facility, Zuther is setting a clear benchmark in its own production. At its heart is a state-of-the-art, fully automated sheet metal processing centre that takes our production to a new level technologically. The cutting-edge machine technology used enables exceptionally high, consistent quality combined with very high throughput rates. Complex components are manufactured precisely, reproducibly and efficiently – at a level that represents a truly unique selling point in this form.
The new machine technology fits seamlessly into the existing high level of automation in Zuther’s production. It consistently complements existing automated processes and robot solutions, thereby strengthening a consistent, future-proof production concept. The intelligently networked overall system is based on a fully automated sheet metal warehouse with 250 pallet spaces and up to 625 tonnes of storage capacity, an additional 6 kW laser system with automatic loading and unloading, and a fully automated robotic press brake with 220 tonnes of pressing force and a working width of up to 4,000 mm. The concept is complemented by an expanded photovoltaic system with a total output of 458 kW, including a storage unit, which consistently combines modern production with sustainability.
In addition to technological performance, the focus is on people. The new production facility significantly reduces the workload on our employees by automating physically demanding and repetitive tasks. At the same time, new, highly skilled and future-oriented jobs have been created, focusing on the use of state-of-the-art production technology, process monitoring and automation.
With this investment, Zuther is deliberately raising production to a new industrial level and underlining its commitment to permanently combining innovation, efficiency and quality.
